The L.Suwaratana Family

It really all started when my father, Tosh, saw my mom, Dawn, helping the local Thai church wash the lunch dishes. Through many adventures the family grew from two to three (that's me!), then four, then five, and on and on until they reached ten kids total! That's a large family no matter where you live in the world.

My father founded a Bible school and soon moved it out to the wild countryside of Nakhon Ratchasima. My siblings and I grew up climbing rocks, exploring jungle trails, and swimming in the pond. I will always remember those carefree childhood days, where every rock was a new castle to be conquered and every trail would surely lead to El Dorado if you just followed it long enough.

When the siblings get old enough, we go for college in America. I spent 10 years learning and working in California before I realized it wasn't the life I wanted to live. I moved back to Thailand to help my family start a mango and sheep farmstay. The farm is started with much thanks to all our volunteers who we've been honored to know and work alongside.

The Bible school was retired and the campus now provides a place for travelers who are looking for a quiet place to rest after a long trip. Or as a home base to make it easier for planning and traveling around Thailand. Since we are located in a central place in Thailand, it's easy to continue your exploring the northern or southern parts of Thailand.  Our homey atmosphere and reliable internet makes this a perfect place to rest up and plan your next Thai adventure.

There's a lot to see and do when you come to visit Thailand. If you ever feel like you need a break from things, bring me a cold Chang and we'll just sit and watch the sunset over distant hills with its smokey clouds and its red sunbeams wishing us goodbye and goodnight; marking the end of another beautiful day in Thailand.
